Island Pink is a variation of Pink Kush, crossed with an unknown hybrid strain. It’s from Vancouver Island, BC. As a result, the strain quickly became known as “Island Pink”, where proud residents smoked “their” version of Pink Kush. This take is slightly less earthy than a full Pink, but sweeter, maintaining its gassy flavours.

Effects and Use

Although different from a classic Pink, this strain still is certainly an indica-dominant hybrid strain. And it’s definitely closer to the indica side than hybrid. You can expect a full body relaxation, anxiety and problems melting away with each puff. When you’re finished, the effects will have already kicked in, thanks to the high levels of myrcene.The effects are long-lasting and reminiscent of kush with a slightly less tiresome effect.

For medicinal patients, this strain may be helpful in treating some symptoms of chronic pain, headaches and migraines, arthritis, nerve and muscle damage, or insomnia.
